The summer is winding down and the kids are getting ready to head back to school ... This morning walking out my door on my way to work, there was just the tiniest hint of autumn coolness in the air. When I mentioned it to a friend she said she'd seen trees at the very top of the mountain that were already looked like their colors were beginning to change.
As a last hurrah before that happens, we're kicking off the "12 Days of Summer." Each day until August 12th we'll feature one Heber Valley activity or event that you should do before summer ends.
Day 1: Ride the Ferris wheel at the Wasatch County Fair—from livestock to Ferris wheels ride, fireworks to carnival games the Wasatch County fair has it all. It's the perfect small town country fair. So get out there and eat some cotton candy!
