Jason Haddock, Ryan Clark, Aaron Gabrielson, and Kurt Connely from Redmond Salt came in with a Red Vine-assisted winning score at a blazing 21 under par at the eighth-annual Heber Valley Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament on August 16.

Nearly a hundred golfers from local businesses and chamber members gathered at Solider Hollow Golf Course raising over $8,000 for community-based projects for the valley making it one of the most successful chamber tournaments to date.

This year’s chamber tournament was a huge success with highest turn of golfers and doubling funds raised from last year.

As the “funnest golf tournament in the valley,” the Heber Valley Chamber of Commerce uses this annual tournament to help raise funds for local projects and to give the players a good time.

On course the players had great golf, multiple hole-in-one challenges for cash and one for a truck, food and drinks, fun games throughout, Red Vines and mulligans to improve scores and the best prizes to date.  Everyone left a winner.

Funds raised from this tournament will go to a community/tourism based project to develop wayfinding signs for visitors and residents. Last year the chamber designed and purchased street banners for Heber and Midway Main Streets reminding residents to shop, play and dine local from the proceeds of the golf tournament.
