Winter is back in the Heber Valley and we have the cold temperatures to prove it. Despite the cold and early evenings we have a lot to look forward to this winter, starting with Deer Valley Ski Resort opening this weekend.
On Saturday, December 5, Deer Valley Ski Resort will open its slopes for another great season of world-class skiing, fine dining and excellant service. Year after year Deer Valley ranks among the best ski resorts in the nation for their unmatched level of dedication to the skiing experience.
This weekend 15 chairlifts and 21 ski runs on four mountains will open. Here are the lifts scheduled to open -
Addtional features you need to know about at Deer Valley. First, off any nonskiing children Deer Valley hosts the Children's Center, a state-licensed facility, with great games and activities for kids 2 months - 12 years. Next they offer complimentary Mountain Host Tours that show you all the interesting facets of the mountain for intermediate and expert levels. Check their website for times and locations. Finally, after a great afternoon of skiing treat yourself to some of Utah's best food on the mountain. With over a dozen places to grab food from chic entrees to midmountain grab and go treats, there is some at Deer Valley for all palates.
