Additional Details

Our museum was established in 2009 by four local Utah WWII veterans and CAF members.  We are dedicated to the restoration, preservation, and demonstration of the magnificent aircraft that dominated the skies during WWII. Our goal is to perpetuate in the memory and hearts of all Americans the spirit in which these great planes were flown in defense of our nation.

The centerpiece of our museum is a 1941 Boeing PT17 Stearman aircraft - N1387V - currently under restoration. These aircraft were used during WWII as basic trainers for all branches of the military. Approiximately 1000 remain in the air today. Stearman are open cockpit aircraft made of fabric, wood, steel, and aluminum. A North American Aviation T-6 Texan is also on display. This single-engine aircraft was used as an advanced trainer during WWII and into the 1970's.

Take a gutsy gritty ride through history - rides on both aircraft are available for purchase. Call 801-719-8876 to schedule your ride.

In addition to historical aircraft, the museum includes a number of supporting displays depicting the story of WWII and other historic military events and a complete library.
