From the President

"We’re Heading to Heber Valley, UTAH"

"Where is Heber Valley you might ask. Well I asked the same thing. Here it is in a nutshell. You land in Salt Lake City, take a short 45-minute beautiful scenic ride to Park City and just go to the other side of the mountain and you are there. Where? Heber Valley... And it is GORGEOUS. I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am that ING is heading west and west to such a fabulous destination. After spending a few days there I can honestly tell you -- YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS THIS CONFERENCE. Sign up today and I look forward to seeing you there."

- John J. Glozek Jr.
President

Getting to the Heber Valley from Salt Lake International Airport is an easy 50 mile drive. We like to boast that there is only one stop light between the Airport and the Zermatt Resort in the Heber Valley.

Airport -

Fly into the Salt Lake International Airport (SLC). The SLC airport is a major hub for Delta, with many direct flights from the east and west coasts. All other major carries fly into SLC as well.

Ground Transportation -

There are several options on ground transporation to get to the Zermatt Resort.

Here are a few options -

While connecting, networking, and playing golf are an essential part of ING there is still time to squeeze in a little extra fun. Here are seven reasons, we're calling "The Seven Wonders of Heber Valley" that you may want to extend your stay or at least be sure not to miss while you're here.

  • Heber Valley Railroad - One of the most popular attractions in Heber Valley is the historic Heber Valley Railroad. The 16 miles of track between the valley and Vivian Park in Provo Canyon offer access to some of the most spectacular scenery in the state. The scenic excursions range from one and a half hours round-trip, to three hour round-trip. Seasonal activity rides are also available. Heber Valley Railroad's popular excursions include Dinosaur Days, Haunted Canyon, the North Pole Express, Murder Mystery, the Tube 'n Train (snow tubing and train ride) and Rafts 'n Rails (river rafting and train ride).
  • Homestead Crater - Over 10,000 years in the making, one of the most unique activities you’ll ever experience in your lifetime, the Crater is a geothermal spring hidden within a 55-foot tall, beehive-shaped limestone rock located on the Homestead property. Two miles below the surface, the earth’s interior heats the mineral water to a constant range of 90 – 96 degrees Fahrenheit. The Crater is a great location to soak , swim, scuba, and even try paddle board yoga. Reservations are required.
  • 90 Holes of Championship Golf -  A premiere golf destination in Utah, the Heber Valley boast 90 holes of golf within four miles of each other at five nationally recognized courses. Wasatch Mountain is consistently the most played course in Utah. Even the likes of basketball great Michael Jordan has fallen in love with Wasatch. Soldier Hollow is the best links style mountain golf in the west. Host of the 2012 Pro Am and the Utah State Am, the world's longest continuous golf tournament in the World. Crater Springs adds an additional spice to the variety of golf in the valley with the most extensive practice facilities.
  • ATV - There is no better way to experience the thrill of the Wasatch Mountains than at full throttle onboard an ATV. Heber Valley has hundreds of off-road vehicle trails that take you amazing visitas, hidden waterfalls, and wide open meadows. Midway Adventure Company, Lofty Peaks, and the Adventure Haus (located at the Zermat) can set you with 2 hour rides, to full day outings.
  • Horseback Riding - Nothing brings out that feeling of being in the old west like traversing through the mountains on horseback. Several local outfitters are available to take you out and about the foot hills of the ancient mountain range. Rides can be arranged through  the Zermatt Resort  with Rocky Mountain Outfitters or directly with KB Horses.
  • Zipline Utah - Zipline Utah is Heber Valley's newest adventure thrill. Half way around Deer Creek Reservoir at Rainbow Bay sits some two miles of zip line fun. The crowning jewel of the Zipline Utah is their 3,800 foot long line that will cross over part of the reservoir becoming the longest over water zip line in the world. Come experience the open air course giving you a real sense of exposure and unprecedented views of the lake and towering surrounding mountains.
  • Fly Fishing - Meandering through the Heber Valley is the Provo River with some of the greatest fly fishing in Utah. Try your hand at hooking the big one with Rocky Mountain Outfitters, or Fishheads Fly Shop both guarantee you'll catch fish, and with some 4,000 fish per mile of stream there's plenty to go around. Even the famed Tiger Woods has been known to frequent the Provo River in the Heber Valley from time to time.
