This comming spring, Heber Valley will host over 100 of the top golf media writers, editors, and broadcasters at the 26th annual International Network of Golf Spring conference. Media members from all over the nation will converge on our valley to network, develop story ideas, demo new clubs, and, of course, play Utah's best mountain golf.
Recently, Mike Jamison, director of ING, described golf in Heber Valley as "spectacular" and is excited about bring the spring conference to Utah.
At the ING show members of the media meet with other industry professionals in one-on-one appoints, plan new places to hold tournments, address trends in the industry and plan for the future of golf. In addtion to the media, leading golf manufactuers attend the show to demo the latest in technology, training aids, and equipment.
"Having the ING group come to Heber Valley is a tribute to the beautiful, challenging, and fun golf we have here," said Ryan Starks, executive director for Heber Valley Tourism and Economic Development.
Hosting the ING Spring Conference will also be a great opportunity to showcase the Golf Heber Valley program. In a collaboration with the five public courses, our lodging partners, and City Wide Golf we can now offer stay and play packages at great rates in a one stop location. The added convenience of booking lodging and tee times together will help drive golfers to come to Heber Valley.
