This year Homestead's Annual Scarecrow Contest will be part of our Fall Festival on Saturday, October 13th and 20th 11 am to 4 pm each Saturday.  No entrance fee to all visitors, experience horse-drawn hay rides for just $5 including a pumpkin in our precious pumpkin patch, pumpkin decorating, hot cider, pumpkin fudge, BBQ and other fall treats available for purchase! Attendees will also receive special discounts at the golf shop, the Zermatt Spa and at each of our four restaurants onsite. The Heart and Soul of the Fall Festival is the Scarecrow Contest! There is no fee to enter! The Scarecrow Contest is open to the public: individuals, businesses, organizations, and clubs, as well as Homestead employees and their departments. Additional Information

The Homestead will provide you a wooden stake, armature and straw for stuffing, as well as your company's name on signage next to your scarecrow. Scarecrows may go up anytime between 8 am - 8 pm on Wednesday, October 10th and Thursday, October 11th (Homestead Maintenance Crew will be available to help). Judging will take place at the Fall Festival. First, second and third place winners will be award with gift certificates.
