WASATCH COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS
The Wasatch School District has four (K-5) Elementary Schools in the valley. There is one Middle School (6-7), one Junior High (8-9), one High School (10-12) and one alternative High School. A new high school is currently under construction that will be completed in 2010. All of the schools offer state regulated core curriculum. The high school provides all required subjects along with a wide variety of electives.
Utah Valley University is a full-service campus located in the scenic outskirts of Heber City. Classes remain small and obtainable and are taught by highly qualified instructors. The Wasatch Campus offers two-year degrees in many disciplines and its list of four-year degrees is constantly expanding. Utah Valley University offers high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to take concurrent enrollment classes. University of Utah courses are offered in nearby Park City.
The Heber Valley is within 35 minutes of the Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University’s main campus. It is also within 50 minutes of the University of Utah and Salt Lake Community College campuses.
