Four glorious seasons

Heber Valley is the quintessential "Four Season" destination, with the extraordinary surroundings changing with the seasons.

In summer, the Wasatch mountains stretch green in the near-distance and the temperatures are pleasantly cool. In the winter, the Wasatch is white with snow and the ski slopes glisten inviting and pristine. In the spring, the valley is filled with flowers. In the fall, the trees go from green to a spectacular array of reds and yellows.

No matter when you visit, beauty is a constant, and the Valley's location, at 5,600 feet above sea level, gives its beauty an alpine slant.

Average Temperatures

The annual average temperature of Heber Valley, 60 degrees, reflects the Valley's moderate nature - never too frigid, never too hot. January and December are the coldest months. The warmest months, June and July, are not too warm, rarely passing out of the 80's. Nights are always cool and despite Heber Valley's position between steep peaks, the breezes are usually gentle.

While the Valley floor is relatively dry and temperate, the surrounding Wasatch Mountains receive abundant moisture, especially in January and February. The annual average snowfall is 76 inches (fantastic for skiing), and the annual average rainfall is 16 inches.
