Let’s just put it out there – Live music makes everything better. Radios, CD, iPods, MP3 players and Pandora make thousands of songs readily available at the push of a button and transform any gathering into a party. However, live music from actual, real life, living, breathing, instrument-playing, song-singing people is powerful, and just plain fun. Here is our list of the best places to get a bite to eat and enjoy some live music in Heber Valley.
Kicking off our list is Dickies BBQ in Heber. Through the end of July head over to Dickies on Mondays and Tuesdays for live music from the Danny Torriente band. This four member band plays fun rock from the 50’s and beyond.
When: Monday and Tuesday nights 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm through July
Music: Acoustic
Ok, not technically a restaurant, but there is plenty of tasty dining options at the Farmers market before the show. Grab a blanket or a lawn chair and head to Main Street Park to enjoy a comfortable summer evening of food, fun, and a variety of great music.
When: Thursday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

If dining al fresco while enjoying a wood fired pizza with some light jazz playing in the back ground sounds like the perfect evening, then you would be right. Make your way over to Café Galleria on Midway’s Main Street for one of the few places in the valley to offer jazz music to their guests.
When: Thursday – Sunday 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Music: Jazz or Country most evenings
For a little more adult evening and the best place to enjoy a drink in Heber Valley with some live music head to Tarahumara Cantina in Midway. Starting at 7 pm Friday through Sunday the Cantina features a variety of music from country, classic rock to folk.

Along with their tasty smoked meats and pizzas, Wildfire brings in local country bands from around the area to give their guests a fun western environment. The bands perform Friday and Saturday’s at 6 pm.

For something more refined head to Z’s Chop Haus at the Zermatt Resort for some fine dining while being serenaded by classical music performed by a local pianist and violinist. Z’s makes for a fun romantic evening out on Fridays and Saturdays.
