The Salt Lake City International Airport is just 55 minutes away from Heber Valley. Salt Lake City International Airport is ranked highest among all airports for prompt departures and arrivals and fewest cancellations. The airport is the second largest hub for Delta Airlines.
No matter where in the United States (or world) you're coming from, arriving at Salt Lake City International Airport is a breeze. From there, it's just a quick drive to Heber.
For those with access to private planes, Heber City has its own airport, the Heber Valley General Aviation Airport. Most planes that land here are small airplanes, rather than jetliners or helicoptors.
Sailplanes and gliders also lift off from the Heber Valley Airport. Due to Heber Valley's high elevation and arid climate, the air here is particularly good for gliding.
