H: 91°Heber Valley is nestled in a mountain valley just south of Park City and approximately 45 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. Access is easy via I-80 to major state highway US-40, which passes directly through Heber Valley. This means you can catch a plane in the morning and be hiking, biking, skiing, snowmobiling, or simply relaxing in our beautiful valley by early afternoon.
The Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is only 45 minutes away from Heber Valley. The airport is the second largest hub for Delta Airlines with no stop lights and all easy freeway access direct from airport to Heber Valley.
The Provo Municipal Airport (PVU) is located an easy 44 minutes away from Heber Valley. This general aviation airfield services scheduled commercial flights with onsite businesses, parking, and amenities.
For those with access to private planes, Heber City has its own airport, the Heber Valley General Aviation Airport (KHCR). This is only 2 miles from the center of Heber City, paralleling US Hwy-189. Most planes that land here are small airplanes, rather than jetliners or helicopters. Sailplanes and gliders also lift off from the Heber Valley Airport, as well as hot air balloons. Due to the valley's high elevation and arid climate, the air is particularly good for gliding and balloons.

High Valley Transit - High Valley Transit is the smartest way to get around the Wasatch Back completely fare FREE. Book trips right from your phone and commute, run errands, and more — all without needing a car. Or catch a free bus at one of several pre-set stops along US-40 through Heber City.
Uber/Lyft/Taxi Services - These transit options are available for guests traveling from Salt Lake City International Airport or the areas of Provo/Orem, Salt Lake City, and Park City. However, guests will need to arrange for transportation back to those markets from Heber Valley. These services are not readily available once in the Heber Valley area.
Car Rental Options - Depending on your travel plans and itinerary destinations, a rental car may be the best fit for your trip. If this is the case, there are several rental options at Salt Lake City International Airport, as well as in Salt Lake City, Provo/Orem, Park City, and Heber City. We recommend you book in advance.
