On Saturday, October 28th at 7:30 pm join the Bar J Wranglers for an emotional show as they pay tribute to fellow western musician, and one of the gatherings favorite performers, Rory Feek.

After setting his guitar down at the 2015 Gathering, Feek will return to the stage for a cameo appearance for a heartfelt performance. Earlier this summer Feek reached out to the gathering and asked if he could come back to the gathering on Saturday with daughter Heidi, as a thank you to so many that encouraged his family, prayed for them and sent them so much love and support.

Many Heber Valley residents have followed the Joey and Rory story on his blog, “This Life I Live,” where he shares many of their emotional trials during Joey’s last days before she passed away from cancer.

In his own words, Rory describes how his life now is working to fill the world with positive stories and hope.

Almost every day I get an email from someone new who has followed our story and has taken the time to share some of their own story with me,” said Feek. “Husbands who've lost wives and are raising little ones by themselves. Women and men and families torn apart by cancer and pain and loss... doing their best to find hope in their hearts too.”

Though heartbroken from losing the love of his life, Feek finds hope and joy through his daughter, and knowing that his story has helped others cope with their own heartaches and losses.

We hope the residents of Heber Valley will take the time to stop by the gathering and support Rory Feek with a hug, a wave, or a cowboy nod.

Now in its 23rd year, Heber Valley Western Music & Cowboy Poetry will beging tonight, October 25th at the Midway Town Hall and runs through Sunday, October 29. The Gathering brings over 10,000 people to the valley to enjoy the Western way of life with eight stages filled with great cowboy music and cowboy poetry that will make you laugh out loud.
