Things to Do

Celebrate the magic and charm of the North Pole this season by creating a new family tradition with a variety of Christmas activities and events in the crisp crystal clear air of the Heber Valley. There are many ways to see Santa this holiday season, but only the Heber Valley brings you to the North Pole.

Santa Sleigh Rides with Rocky Mountain Outfitters

Try dashing through the snow with a Santa Sleigh Ride with Rocky Mountain Outfitters at the Homestead Resort. You hear those jingle bells ring as you let your kids deliver their lists to Santa on a horse drawn Sleigh Ride through snow covered meadows as you make your way to Santa’s workshop at the North Pole. Sleigh Rides to Santa’s workshop start November 28 and run through December 23.

North Pole Express with Heber Valley Railroad

For something a little warmer, head to the Heber Valley Railroad depot to catch the North Pole Express departing daily from November 28 through Christmas Eve, December 24.  With a cup of hot cocoa and a cookie in hand, riders are taken to the North Pole to meet up with Santa and Mrs. Claus. For all the good little boys and girls Mr. and Mrs. Claus will also have a special gift.

Breakfast with Santa at the Homestead Resort

Finally, make the trip to the Heber Valley North Pole extra special with a nice piping hot breakfast by the fireplace with Santa at Simon’s Restaurant at the Homestead Resort. Children can share with Santa their Christmas wishes at this special event, and afterwards Mrs. Claus invites them to decorate cookies with her. Santa is very busy this time of year and he arrives for breakfast on December 20.
