This 22,000-acre park is poised on the east slope of the Wasatch Mountains near Midway, just West of Heber City. A USGA-sanctioned 27-hole golf course is the major attraction to the park. This par 72 course overlooks beautiful Heber Valley and has ten lakes located throughout tree-lined fairways. Special amenities include a full-service pro-shop, driving range, practice greens and a cafe.
This picturesque park offers two campgrounds and the chalet, a ranch style building for large groups, complete with kitchen facilities, a volleyball standard, baseball diamond, and its own picnic and camping area. For reservations at the chalet, call 1-800-322-3770. Pine Creek Campground is nestled in the low hills of the Wasatch Mountains. Sites with full or partial hookups are provided for trailers, and tents have a separate loop to themselves.
Wasatch Mountain State Park is a local favorite for horseback riding and offers great trails for hiking. The park accesses two of Utah's favorite scenic backcountry drives which are also popular with mountain bikers, Guardsman Pass road and the road to Cascade Springs.
