Heber City, Utah — Keeping with tradition, the five-day event will kick off Wednesday night, October 13th, at Midway Town Hall with entertainment by Cold Creek Band, Dave and Jenny Anderson, and poets Andy Nelson and Doris Daley. This year’s headliner will be the famous Shenandoah Band – one of the most successful, chart-topping western bands of the 80s and 90s. And Ben Haggard will be performing a tribute to his father, the great Merle Haggard.

“We couldn’t be more excited about this year’s 26th Annual Gathering, all set in the beautiful backdrop of the Heber Valley!” said Diane Pope, Producer of Heber Valley Western Music & Cowboy Poetry Gathering. This year, you can see some of the very best musicians and poets from around the country. Folks like Waddie Mitchell, Andy Nelson, Eli Barsi, The Quebe Sisters, and Doris Daley are among the performers. Billy Dean will be debuting his symphony show with the Heber Valley Symphony Orchestra. And there will be three special performances by The Bar J Wranglers, which will be among their final performances before they ride into retirement later this year.

Plus, don’t miss the Mountain Man Traders Camp, Buckaroo Fair, historic Heber Valley Railroad “Cowboy Express” train rides, and the rare cowboy collection on display at Tom’s Cabin.
