Heber Valley is a vibrant area to host or attend an event. With over 300 events each year, there is almost always something to do!


Wasatch County has moved into MODERATE transmission level. If you are planning to create or host an event in Wasatch County please fill out one of the event request forms from the Wasatch County Health Department to get your event approved.

Monday Night Train

Enjoy this fun and family friendly 90 minute evening train ride through the Heber Valley and along the shores of Deer Creek Reservoir. This wonderful train ride includes sing-a-longs, low cost foods and treats, and many other surprises in store. Monday Night Trains are perfect for date nights, and families. Affordable prices! AND, be sure and arrive early to experience the Old West gunfights prior to boarding at 6:40pm!

Lakeside Limited Train Ride

Climb aboard for this relaxing two-hour ride along the shores of Deer Creek Reservoir and the base of majestic Mt. Timpanogos. This "over the river and through the woods" ride provides a spectacular view of Heber Valley and breathtaking scenery. You might spot a variety of native wildlife such as mule deer, bald eagles, elk, coyotes, or foxes along the way.

Deer Creek Express Train Ride

This 90 minute trip offers incredible views of the Wasatch Mountains, the wide-open vistas of Deer Creek Reservoir, and the beautiful Heber Valley. The Deer Creek Express departs from the depot, follows the shores of Deer Creek Reservoir to Decker Bay, and returns.

Experience the joy of spring during our farm’s baby animal days April 16th-17th 10-5! With help of other farmers & ranchers in the Heber Valley, you’ll be delighted to interact and learn about various farm animals. In addition, you and your family can enjoy some time taking a hay ride and playing farm games on the lawn. Upgraded tickets for calf feeding, as well as dairy barn tours – will be available the DAY of the event. NOTE: Please wear appropriate (closed-toed) footwear that you don’t mind getting dirty.

Rock with us on our Friday Night Rock-n-Roll train July 17th! This fun evening begins with a FREE rock concert at the depot featuring the Flashback Brothers Band. This FREE show begins at 7pm. The Rock-n-Roll Train departs at 8:30 pm for a 90 minute round trip evening ride. On board the Rock-n-Roll Train you'll enjoy classic rock hits, test your rock trivia, and sing-a-longs. A great date night or fun for the whole family. Food and snacks will be for sale in the concessions car.
