It's no secret that people love coming to Utah for vacations to explore our diverse ecosystem of forested peaks and red rock deserts. Many people when they come to Utah they fall in love with the state and eventually plant roots here, making Utah one of the fastest growing areas in the country. That growth is mostly concentrated in a few main areas of the state: The Wasatch Front, Wasatch Back, and the St. George area.

The growth is largely due to net migration, which means more people are coming into the county than leaving. County officials face many challenges in keeping up with the pace.
