The Heber VaIley Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Department of Workforce Services (DWS) to host a Wasatch Back Hiring Event. Here are the details:
WASATCH BACK HIRING EVENT
Objective: To provide your company with an opportunity to talk to prospective employees, conduct interviews and hire on the spot, and/or set up appointments for interviews.
Requirements: To participate in this year’s hiring event your business must be registered at www.Jobs.Utah.Gov/Employer, you must have an active job listing at Jobs.Utah.Gov, and you must return the DWS agreement to Susan Angle at [email protected].
Each exhibiting employer will share an 8’ table with another exhibitor. Tables will be first-come, first served. If your company requires easels or any A/V equipment, please make arrangements for these on your own. No additional equipment or extension cords are provided by the facility. Event setup will be available at 3:00 pm.
The Department of Workforce Services (DWS) is the lead organization for this event. To participate, please complete and return the DWS Employer Agreement. Space at the event is limited, we request that employees from your organization attending the event that are not listed on the attached Job Fair Agreement form circulate the room, leaving space around the exhibit tables for job seekers.
DWS will provide blank job applications, a Spanish-English interpreter, and a copy machine that will be available during the event. Your Job Fair reservation will be reviewed when you have completed the registration online, posted a job, and submitted the Job Fair agreement. Once that process is complete, you will receive an email reservation confirmation from DWS.
