Labor Day Weekend in Heber Valley

Have you been to Heber Valley for Labor Day weekend? This is a great time to explore our alpine town. The beloved Swiss Days Festival takes place each year in Midway, Utah, and brings together over 100 one-of-a-kind craft booths, indulgent and unique foods, all sorts of live entertainment, and a fun buzz about Midway Main Street. Several local retail boutique stores set up booths along Midway Main Street to extend the shopping experience of Swiss Days. Of course, for those looking to get away from the crowds and find some respite, the Heber Valley offers unbelievable access to some of northern Utah’s best trails, camping, and open lands along the Wasatch Back, Uinta Mountains, and far beyond. It’s time to getaway. It’s time to go to Heber Valley!

Swiss Days Festival: September 1st - 2nd

Midway Swiss Days takes place on Friday and Saturday over Labor Day weekend every year and draws tens of thousands of visitors and vendors from all parts of the country to mix, mingle, and enjoy the wares, food, and activities. With two fun-filled days, be sure to bring some comfortable shoes so you can explore all the booths and food vendors. For a truly enjoyable experience, check out our Swiss Days “how to guide” and make your plans to explore all this festival has to offer. Learn more about the history of Swiss Days.

Get Out & Explore More

  • Golf: With 90 holes of golf at 5 renowned public courses
  • Hiking & Biking: Over 400 miles of trails throughout the Wasatch & Uinta ranges
  • Lake Recreation: 3 expansive and scenic reservoirs and over 15 miles of fly fishing in Blue-Ribbon streams
  • Horseback Riding: Great for the whole family!
  • Zipline: Soar above it all on the world’s longest continuous zip line course and longest over an open body of water
  • Local Boutique Shopping: Journey through the valley and explore the worldly treasures and one-of-a-kind finds at any number of locally owned boutique stores. You may need to stay an extra day to shop it all!

Make A Weekend Out of It

Consider staying local and beating the crowd.
