June 2021 Business of the Month: Purple Sky Counseling
Cassidy DuHadway, LCSW, is the Founder of Purple Sky Counseling. She derives joy from spending time working with her clients to help them achieve their goals and overcome life’s obstacles. She specializes in trauma, women’s issues (including teens), and play therapy. Cassidy works with each client to identify specific goals for therapy, explore negative core beliefs, and move toward life-altering change.
Cassidy boils it down by stating, “Mostly, I focus on helping you find and believe in the strengths and abilities you already have… I know how to get through all the crap on top and figure out what is going on underneath.”
Through her expert services, or those of her licensed and experienced team, clients learn how to overcome anxieties, manage emotional reactions, and heal from trauma. With Cassidy’s specialties focusing on helping women, children, and teens who have experienced trauma, she is highly sought after in the community. While Cassidy is not currently taking new clients, she has additional experienced therapists who can help.
When not providing expert counseling services, Cassidy enjoys a variety of hobbies, including pottery and cross-stitch, reading a good book, spending time with friends and her kids, and almost any type of outdoor recreation. You’ll often find her out hiking, paddle boarding, or canyoneering. When not on a crazy adventure, she spends her time enjoying the small moments in life.
