The Insurance Center established its Midway office in 2002 and has been providing quality insurance coverage to this community ever since. As an independent insurance agency, this business represents well over 60 carriers in all 50 states and prides itself on tailoring all coverage to the client’s needs. We had a chance to catch up with the busy team recently. Dane Pedersen, a “commercial insurance expert,” was so gracious to sit with us and give us some background to this local company’s success.

The team there appreciates it clients and listens to each client’s individual needs. The personalized and sincere service offered is felt from the moment you walk through the door or the second they pick up the phone. The Insurance Center also provides a lot of philanthropic love to this community. The staff loves to give back and the company is a sponsor for several community events. They support the Midway Elementary reading program, buy and donate books to the local school, and participate with in-school reading programs with the students. The company also sponsors the “student athlete of the month” at Wasatch High School. The staff cares about the people in this community and wants to be part of what is happening in our valley. Avelia Hash, the Office Manager, shared, “We go the extra mile… I want people to know that we are here for them… They trust us and we are here for the community… Our clients are people that we care about.” And we can feel their sincerity.
In 2019 and 2020, The Insurance Center received the prestigious recognition of the Big “I” Best Practices Agency Award. Out of 37,000 insurance agencies nationwide, only 264 received this award, making this Midway business a benchmark for other agencies nationwide.
