If you’ve met Mary Brown, then you know she is passionate about cleaning and organizing. After completing her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in sociology, Mary got into the cleaning industry and discovered her passion for cleaning. Paired with her bright entrepreneurial spirit, Mary knew she needed to run her own business.
Mary moved to Heber Valley over 24 years ago and almost immediately started her local cleaning business – Finishing Touch Cleaning. With over 23 years of experience in home and business cleaning services here in Heber Valley, Mary loves what she does and has built her business based on her hard work ethic and dedication to her clients.
Mary started her business cleaning during the winter months only, then offered yardwork, gardening, and landscaping services in the summer season. Over the decades, she has grown her business from a single employee to now employing over 30 people in our community. Finishing Touch Cleaning offers residential, commercial, and construction cleaning services year-round along the Wasatch Back – including the signature custom deep cleaning service, which is a floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall intense cleaning that is fully customizable to each client’s space and needs.
Mary was nominated for the Heber Valley Chamber Business of the Month for her commitment to helping others in our community. Mary enjoys helping others and cares for this local community. She says that she feels responsible for her employees and their families. She genuinely cares about their wellbeing and their ability to enjoy life here in Heber Valley. And she is equally caring for her clients. She offers discounted cleaning services to those who have fallen on hard times and just need a helping hand. Mary enjoys being part of the community and giving back where she can. She likes that her services help remove the stress from another’s life by providing a clean home or workspace.
Mary’s love for this valley is apparent in her passion for helping others and providing jobs to people in our community. She loves owning her own business and appreciates the opportunity to work in such a beautiful place serving people she cares about.
Mary and her team use a very green cleaning process, including using high-quality Norwex sustainable cleaning cloths that use fewer harmful chemicals and less plastics to produce and Sargent steam cleaning machines for increased sanitization and disinfection of homes and businesses in the cleaning process. These green cleaning products are an important aspect of her business.
In addition to the cleaning services, Mary and her team also offer property management services under their company Mountain Peak Luxury Property Management, and she maintains an AirBnB property in Heber Valley as well. All of Mary’s business endeavors have been successful over the years and she relies mostly on word-of-mouth reviews and promotions to attract new clients. And apparently, her proof is in her cleaning!
