Dark Sky Viewing Party

Join us Saturday August 12th for some family-friendly stargazing at Wasatch Mountain Institute (located at Rock Cliff Recreation Area) to view the Perseid meteor shower at its peak. Onsite staff will have a telescope set up and binoculars to use. Learn about the night sky above and why protecting Utah’s dark skies is so important.

Bring water, a snack, bug spray, a camp char, and warm layers. Free event and open to all ages. Utah State Park entrance fees apply.
