Día del Niño, or Children's Day, is a special, widely celebrated holiday in Mexico (and other nations) on or around April 30th that honors children, recognizes their importance in society, and promotes their well-being. Originating in 1925, this day focuses on celebrating childhood with special school events, gifts, and family activities.
