This past Saturday, April 12th, hundreds of residents attended our third annual Ask Heber Valley Community Expo presented by the Heber Valley Historic Railroad at the Wasatch County Recreation Center. With nearly 80 booth vendors ranging from community organizations to dozens and dozens of local businesses, we had many booths to enjoy.
Events like these take a lot of effort to pull off, and we are grateful for all the many hands that made it successful. The purpose of the expo is to bring our community members and our businesses closer together. We hear so often that people have no idea that Heber Valley has so many awesome local businesses. We work hard all year to encourage our residents to “try local first” and the expo is just one tool in our toolbelt to help Chamber members and residents connect.
As such, we are always open to and would like to hear your feedback on how you felt the expo went. To that end, we have created two quick surveys to gather feedback, one for ATTENDEES and one for VENDORS. Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts and feedback with us. We always love solution-oriented ideas that help us improve!
I am personally grateful for my wonderful team. They worked late on Friday and early on Saturday to make sure everything was ready to roll when our first vendors and guests started to arrive. As many of you may know, Desirae Broadhead has left our office to pursue her next adventure. However, we can all agree that without her organization and preparation, we couldn’t have made a smooth transition.
Thanks again for the opportunity to serve our community through the Ask Heber Valley Community Expo. We look forward to hearing from you and hosting this event again.
