One of the most common questions we hear from our members is about how to communicate to other businesses and residents of the valley. Over the years, we have observed that everyone communicates differently. Some really like email, others prefer text messages. Some love reading magazines, others turn to social media. It really requires using multiple methods to connect and share your story.
At our last Chamber lunch in July, we unveiled a new method to communicate with our Chamber members through the new Member Portal. This is a new platform and method to unite, connect, and promote among Chamber
members. Often, we are asked to share individual business information with the entire Chamber contact list through e-newsletters, social posts, text messages, etc. With over 360 Chamber members, that would be a lot of
emails in your inbox! Our new Chamber Member Portal is one avenue to share what’s going on with your business or in our community.
Our commitment to our members is to drive as many member eyes to the Member portal as possible. In upcoming e-newsletters, you will see reminders to check the Member Portal often. We’ll even post social media and text message reminders to encourage use of the Member Portal. This will be a
great way to communicate your needs and connect with other Chamber member businesses.
Quick facts about the Member Portal:
- Access: To access, go to hebervalleychamber.com, then click on the “Member Portal

As you start using the Member Portal, please submit feedback to Missy or me. We want to make this platform as helpful as possible. We offer portal tips, support, and user tutorial information here. This will help keep your messages succinct and to keep them from being overlooked.
We believe this new Chamber member platform will be a great tool for our Chamber and another method to connect with one another. Please use it and share your feedback. Thank you for all you do for our Heber Valley!
