HEBER CITY – On April, 28, 2017, due to remarkable growth over the past year, MIRO Industries and sister company Rooftop Anchor (RTA) will be expanding their production capabilities by acquiring an additional 22,000 square foot facility and the installation of new high tech equipment in Heber City.
For the past five years MIRO and RTA have been housed in the same facility. Nate Sargent, president and CEO, said it was a goal of theirs to someday have to split the companies into two different facilities. During the last year both companies grew by at least 25 percent, facilitating the need to expand.
Marked by the purchase of more space, installation of new high tech equipment, job creation, and capital investment, this expansion represents a long-term commitment to the valley. In the past six months alone MIRO and RTA have added 25 new jobs bringing their total workforce to 95 making them one of the largest private employers in Wasatch County.
Having companies such as MIRO and RTA in the Heber Valley play a significant role to the local economy, according to Heber Valley Economic Development director, Ryan Starks.
“Nate and his team prove you don’t have to be on the Wasatch front to be successful, and that our valley has the labor force, infrastructure and resources needed for success,” said Starks.
