Central Heber Overlay Zone Open House

Heber City is considering updates to zoning codes in the Central Heber Overlay Zone - CHOZ (commonly referred to as “Old Town”) to allow for the redevelopment of flag lots, small lots, and missing middle housing types—creating more diverse housing opportunities. Additionally, the city is expanding the commercial zone from Main Street to 100 South to encourage business growth along the key corridor between Heber and Midway.

Attend the Heber City Open House on Thursday, March 20th at 6:00 pm at the Public Safety Building (Heber City Police Station). The suggested process leading to a possible adoption includes a public open house on March 20th at the Public Safety Building. If the Planning Commission recommends approval or approval with some changes, the draft goes to Heber City Council for review and a potential adoption.
