Wasatch County has established a matching grant program, administered by the Heber Valley Tourism and Economic Development office, to support economic growth. Eligible local businesses operating within Wasatch County may apply for funding of up to $5,000.
This Small Business Microgrant program is designed to provide financial assistance for initiatives that strengthen and expand local operations. Funds may be used to purchase equipment, enhance facilities, or support projects that expand services, create local jobs, or contribute to overall economic growth in Wasatch County.

Applications open March 30 and close April 30 at 6:00 p.m. Funding is limited, and applications will be reviewed based on impact, feasibility, and alignment with program goals.

The Small Business Microgrant is a post-performance, 50/50 matching grant. Funds will be dispersed upon submission of project report including receipts for costs incurred by the applicant and at the discretion of the Review Committee.
Applications are reviewed by the Small Business Microgrant Review Committee, comprised of the Wasatch County Economic Opportunity Advisory Board. Committee members must disclose conflicts of interest and recuse themselves when applicable.
The approval of grant applications is based on availability of funds and the qualifications and approval process outlined below. Grant recipients have 12 months to use the grants funds.
