Red, White, and Blue Festival

Join us for a daylong celebration of independence, family, faith, and country on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Festivities kick off early Tuesday morning with a 5K and a 10K run/walk, followed immediately by a Patriotic walk, breakfast, and flag ceremony.

Balloon Festival Watch the hot air balloons set up for takeoff early in the morning from the Heber City Municipal Airport, or book a ride with one of the balloon pilots and experience the Red, White, and Blue Festival from above.

Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest Calling all chalk artists, amateur to expert, to show off your skills during the Red, White, and Blue Festival. Pick a blank square around the Main Street Park block and create your patriotic masterpiece. The artwork will be judged at 3:30 on Tuesday, July 4. Cash Prizes are available for winning entries.

Flag Ceremony Join us for a flag ceremony at 8:00 am at the Heber City Main Street Park.

Patritotic Walk Dress in your best red, white, and blue, and join us for a Patriotic Walk on July 4 at 8:30 am. Staging at the Heber City Main Street Park. Bring your leashed pups, scooter, or bikes (non-motorized). Prizes will be given to the best-dressed participants. No pre-registration is needed. The walk starts promptly at 8:30 am.

Chuckwagon Breakfast Sponsored by the Heber Valley Rotary Club The Heber Valley Rotary will serve a pancake breakfast from 8:00 am - 10:00 am (as long as supplies last). The cost is $5 per person. At the Heber City Park Pavillion.

Freedom Train at the Heber Valley Railroad Show your Independence Day spirit with an early morning ride on the annual Freedom Train. Train's depart at 8:00 am, 10:30 am, and 1:00 pm sharp for this patriotic 90-minute round trip to Decker Bay. Live entertainment on board. Wear your red, white, and blue. Games and Entertainment Whether you participate or stay on the sideline, you will be entertained by yard games like tug-of-war, sack races, and three-legged races. Join us from 1 - 3 pm at Heber City's Main Street Park.

Guns vs. Hoses Tug of War Join the Wasatch Fire Department, the Wasatch County Sherrif's Office, and the Heber City Police Department in a friendly Tug o' War contest. The contest will occur at Heber City Main Street Park at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 4. Come cheer for your favorite first responders.
Guns vs. Hoses Tug of War
Strong Man Contest Heber City's strongest athletes will show their strengths during this Strong Man contest. These athletes will push their physical strength, agility, and mental toughness to the limit. Watch in amazement from 2:30 - 3:30 pm. Sponsored by Gogan's Garage

Eagle Court of Honor Lions of the Sky is pleased to offer a live bald eagle and/or golden eagle Court of Honor for this year's Red, White, and Blue Festival. Events from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at the Heber City Main Street Park.

Stomp it Out Cloggers Stomp it Out Cloggers will bring energy and entertainment to the Red, White, and Blue Festival for a clogging show. The show begins at 4:15 pm at the Heber City Main Street Park. Don't be late!

American Rooster Outdoor Concert American Rooster is a local band, that plays Americana rock. This group will perform from 5 - 6 pm at the Heber City Main Street Park's outdoor bandstand.
