If you are anything like me the more time you spend in your home, the more you want to make updates or changes. Not to mention that it is spring and there no better time to freshen things up a bit inside your home.
We’ve teamed up with two of the best interior designers in Heber Valley to offer some tips to freshen up your space while stuck indoors. With some simple changes you can easily transform your space to be a healthier and more ascetically pleasing environment. Jenn and Nicole have some great tips to get you started.
Take a look around your home - do you have a collection of items that relate to each other but are scattered throughout your home? Group them together in a collection and display them in a creative way. The collection will be visible, and your home will look less cluttered. It's a simple change but can have a big impact on your home decor.
For example, do you have vacation pictures scattered in frames throughout your home. Gather them together and make a display on a bookshelf or console. Or have you been collecting antique plates for years - and they are all still in boxes - pull them out and create a display to hang on the wall.
Takes some time to look around and see what you have been collecting we all have items we are continually drawn to that make us happy.

One way to help enjoy your areas more is to freshen them up! Here are some quick tips for freshening up the living room:
1: Re-stuff your sofa cushions. Most sofas have a zipper on the back of them and adding some shredded microfiber or other filler will help give those saggy cushions a refreshed look and help your sofa look new again.
2: Changing out your pillows. This is a cost-effective way to add new color, style, and a new look to your living room. Add a variety of sizes, shapes, and textures. Try a new color, it can be fun.
3. Change out pictures or items on your bookcase. Trade items from other areas of your home. Swapping places with accessories is a really easy way to give old items a new look and to see things in a different light. Or splurge and buy one new accessory! Buying something new can be exhilarating and help bring joy to you and your space.
As you are trading places with items and adding new items to your room, take time to deep clean. Spring is a great time to clean those areas we tend to forget about. Clean the blades off the fans and switch the rotation of the fan. Clean your window treatments, baseboards, all the hard to reach areas. This simple thing will really leave you feeling refreshed.
Our local businesses are committed to their customers. Many businesses are offering special services to accommodate shoppers during this time. We highly encourage you to support these business owners as much as possible during this time. These businesses make our community vibrant, they donate to our community, now it’s our time to support these businesses.
We've compiled a list of local businesses who are also Chamber members to get you started. These businesses have had t get creative in order to safely continue to serve the community during this time and we applaud their industrious Efforts.
If you find yourself in need of a little pick me up or addition to your current space, we hope you'll consider a local business.
