From the highest point, scenic views of Currant Creek Reservoir below and red sandstone cliffs to the east are thoroughly rewarding.

The trailhead can be accessed from the lower loop of Currant Creek campground. The trailhead is located in Loop D of the campground, where parking and restrooms are available.

Basic Directions

To reach Currant Creek, follow US Hwy 40 southeast of Heber City 40 miles to the Currant Creek turnoff.

Follow this gravel road another 17 miles around Currant Creek Reservoir to the campground.

The trailhead is located in Loop D of the campground, where parking and restrooms are available.
