Fairs, Festivals, and Performances
There is always something to do in Heber Valley. The Heber Valley Railroad has excursions Tuesday through Sundays, theater performances and cultural events are scheduled throughout the year, bands play every Thursday durning the the summers at Heber City Park and many perform at local restaurants. Watch the calendar for annual events like rodeos, car or livestock shows, the Heber Valley Pow Wow, Swiss Days and the Soldier Hollow Sheepdog Classic. Heber Valley's three state parks offer Junior Ranger programs weekends and there is always time for a hike, a bike ride or a scenic drive.

Coming for the second year to Midway Town Hall is the world's most beloved story, "A Christmas Carol," a musical based on the story by Charles Dickens. From grouchy curmudgeon to lovable softie, the story of Ebeneezer Scrooge gives all of us hope in the power of love and the spirit of Christmas.

BASH Winter Triathlon is just that...a Winter Multisport event that consists of running, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing - all performed on the packed and groomed XC ski trails of the World famous Soldier Hollow (former 2002 Winter Olympic Venue). BASH is a perfect way to learn new sports, improve your base fitness, and expand your skills as a multi-sport athlete during the off-season.

Celebrate Your Museum Day
When was the last time you visited your local museum? Your will definitely want to plan a visit on Sept 13, 2008, which has been declared, “Celebrate Your Museum Day”.
The Rock Cliff Nature Center will be open from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm with a Naturalist available to answer questions and help you explore the Nature Center. Join us from 9am-12pm to collect Teasel and make fall crafts. Bring leather gloves and clippers.
Over 250 museums in Utah provide a wealth of cultural and educational opportunities for residents and visitors alike. Museums are the guardians of Utah’s natural, cultural and artistic heritage. Join the nearly 7 million people who visit Utah’s museums annually and experience wonderful historical objects, meet interesting plants and animals, and go face to face with awesome art. Explore your world!
To RSVP for the fall crafts and for more information, please contact the Nature Center at (435) 782-3030. Rock Cliff is located on the East end of Jordanelle State Park near Kamas and Francis. Day use fee of $7.00 per carload up to 8 people applies or free to Utah State Park Pass holders.
