Sundance Resort is a year-round luxury mountain resort. Summer visitors can enjoy zip line tours, mountain biking, hiking, scenic chairlift rides, horseback riding, fly fishing, and outdoor summer concerts. Winters at Sundance offer a uniquely intimate experience for all range of skiers and snowboarders with a vertical drop of 2,150 feet. The winter terrain consists of 40% black, 40% blue, and 20% green ski runs and trails over 450 acres of Utah’s pristine natural landscape. In addition to 42 alpine ski runs, Sundance offers about 16 miles (26 km) of groomed cross-country ski trails and a little over 6 miles (10 km) of separate snowshoeing trails.

Founded by Robert Redford in 1969, Sundance Resort remains committed to the balance of art, nature, and recreation. The luxury resort is situated at the base of the renowned 12,000-foot Mt. Timpanogos on approximately 5,000 acres of preserved wilderness. Only an hour’s drive from Salt Lake City International Airport and 35 minutes from Heber Valley, Sundance Resort is an idyllic setting with a broad range of activities including fine dining, spa, art classes, a Nature Center, and a variety of outdoor seasonal recreation.
