I (and Jessica Turner and Jared Wright) have the privilege of performing in Timpanogos Valley Theatre’s production of “It’s A Wonderful Life.” In the play, George Bailey finds himself in a jam. As he questions his existence, Clarence, his guardian angel, gives George the gift to see what his community would be like without him. He learns how much of a positive impact he had on his town and on the lives of those he loves. This makes me think of all of you. Our membership would not be as vibrant, dynamic, and impactful without you. Every single business plays a powerful role in shaping our community by supplying needed goods and services, providing employment opportunities, and creating a thriving economy. I know that without your business our valley would not be the place it is today. We really do have a “wonderful life” in Heber Valley. And our successes this year have been great. We look forward to sharing them with you in greater detail at our annual meeting on January 17th.
At the end of the play, George is given an even greater gift as he sees all the love and support of family and friends to help him get out of his jam. As we move through the rest of the holiday season and into 2023, let us consider how we might come together to support one another. Let us unite in doing good, connect on a more meaningful level, and let us promote what makes our community great — You.
