July has been deceptively quiet. We haven’t had many chamber events this month, but that doesn't mean we haven’t been busy working and preparing for some really important events coming up. Next week on July 28, the Chamber will be hosting an Ice Cream Social from 5 to 9 pm at the Thursday Heber Market on Main. The Chamber is providing Roonie's Ice Cream cups and all you have to do is provide a topping. This event is a perfect way for you to interact with local residents and area businesses. Find out more info visit our website or reach out to [email protected].
In August, Governor Spencer Cox will be visiting Heber Valley on Monday, August 8th at the UVU-Wasatch Campus at noon. This is a FREE event with lunch included, but space is limited so please RSVP here. And on Tuesday, August 9th we have our Annual Chamber Golf Tournament at Soldier Hollow Gold Course with a shotgun start at 8 am. Funds raised will be used to reinvest in local businesses through grants, sponsorships, and other avenues to help businesses. Then, we’ll be back at Red Ledges for our Chamber After Hours Mixer on August 23rd from 4 to 6 pm. Be sure to register for that here. We hope you are having a great summer, and we look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events!
