Deer Valley Unveils Updated Trail Map For The 2025/26 Ski Season

Adding 7 New Chairlifts & Nearly 80 More Ski Runs

Deer Valley doubles its terrain with the largest ski area expansion in North America — adding 100 new runs and 10 new chairlifts in a year!

DEER VALLEY RESORT; PARK CITY, UTAH (October 17, 2025) – Deer Valley Resort has released its updated trail map for the 2025/26 ski season, illustrating the latest phase of the resort’s historic Expanded Excellence initiative. The new map highlights seven additional chairlifts and nearly 80 new ski runs for the upcoming ski season, bringing the resort’s total skiable terrain to more than 4,300 acres, officially over doubling the Deer Valley experience and marking one of the most significant expansions in North American ski history.

Building on last year’s introduction of Deer Valley East Village and the first wave of new terrain, including three new chairlifts and 20 new runs, update showcases the most transformative phase yet, integrating Park Peak and Big Dutch Peak, Keetley Point and Pioche Point to the resort’s interconnected trail network. Click here to watch Deer Valley Resort’s 2025-26 Winter Trail Map reveal.

“This year’s map captures a significant moment in Deer Valley’s history,” said Susie English, Vice President of Marketing. “With more lifts, more runs, and a greatly expanded footprint, it reflects how far we’ve come in realizing our vision to elevate the Deer Valley experience while still maintaining the character and care that define our resort.”

The 2025/26 trail map illustrates the terrain now open as part of the expansion, including: 7 new chairlifts, including the East Village Express, a 10-passenger gondola connecting Deer Valley East Village to Park Peak – in addition to the three chairlifts added last season. Nearly 80 new ski runs, of all abilities, including the 4.8-mile-long Green Monster spanning from the top of Park Peak to the Deer Valley East Village base area, including the 20 ski runs added last season. More than 4,300 acres of skiable terrain, over double the size of Deer Valley prior to expansion.

Hand-painted by renowned ski map artist Rad Smith, the updated illustration captures the resort’s distinctive beauty and scale through an enhanced aerial perspective. Smith’s artistry preserves the timeless character of ski maps while incorporating modern details that help guests easily navigate the expanded resort footprint.

Deer Valley’s Expanded Excellence initiative continues to progress with additional terrain and lifts planned for Hail Peak in the 2026/27 season, followed by future development on South Peak in later phases. As new areas open, the trail map will continue to evolve to reflect Deer Valley’s growing footprint and elevated guest experience.
