Park City, Utah (June 5, 2025)— Grand Hyatt Deer Valley is thrilled to announce the debut of Sunspell Pool + Provisions, ushering in a new era of summer luxury with a fresh lineup of seasonal food and drink specials and relaxing poolside experiences. Perched above the Jordanelle Reservoir, Sunspell Pool + Provisions is set to serve as the social heartbeat of Deer Valley East Village and the summer’s most anticipated mountain-side destination beginning in June of 2025.

Boasting 7,000 square feet of stunning terrace space, Sunspell Pool + Provisions combines panoramic views of the Wasatch Mountains with elevated design and vibrant energy. Guests can enjoy plush Italian chaises, two oversized jacuzzis, and nine shaded cabanas. This salt water oasis is open seven days a week from 7am until 10pm.  Food and beverage service is available Sundays - Thursdays from 11:30am until 6pm and on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:30am until 7pm.

Signature Cocktails by Water Witch
Take a dip, then take a sip of a Curacao Cowboy, grapefruit margarita or a spirit-free Saratoga ginger swizzle. In collaboration with Salt Lake City’s Water Witch, Sunspell Pool + Provisions’ bar delivers playful, poolside delights from an award-winning mixology team. Water Witch, a pioneer in craft cocktails is nominated for the illustrious James Beard Award for Outstanding Bar and one of five finalists competing at a national level for the top prize. Guests can expect inventive twists on tropical classics including spicy margaritas, clarified mezcal cocktails, and the signature coconut oil gin sour. A wide variety of offerings are available with many drinks, several  featuring all-vegan ingredients plus many standout spirit-free options for the mindful sipper. Pair your drink with a light appetizer or nourishing pool-side entree curated by Chef Alessandro Silvestro.

The terrace’s culinary offerings are a vibrant, tasty celebration of summer. Chef Alessandro Silvestro’s menu draws from Sunspell Pool + Provisions’ own terrace garden, with dishes highlighting microgreens, fresh herbs, and lemon citrus. Expect flavorful grilled skewers, seasonal seafood, and the summer’s sweetest strawberries. House specialties include pineapple stir fried rice, pressed and chilled watermelon salad, and hamachi crudo.

From mellow daytime EDM sets to live weekend performances by the Nate Robinson and Will Baxter Trios, Sunspell Pool + Provisions’ music programming sets the tone for every hour. As the sun dips, the vibe transitions with exclusive DJ mixes created just for this Utah pool-side gem by Las Vegas nightlife legend DJ Mighty Mi.

Access & Reservations
A limited number of resort day passes are available to non-hotel guests, which include access to locker rooms, fitness center, parking, and reserved lounge seating. With high demand expected, cabana and daybed reservations are strongly encouraged in advance. Reservations are open now for the summer season.
