The Heber Valley Chamber Announces This Year's 2025 Wasatch Back Economic Summit

Focusing On Embracing Understanding & Empowering Our Future

Heber Valley, Utah (April 7, 2025) — The Heber Valley Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Park City Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau, invites business and community leaders to the 2025 Zions Bank Wasatch Back Economic Summit on Tuesday, May 13th, at the illustrious Grand Hyatt Deer Valley. This full-day event, running from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm will feature insightful keynote presentations, expert-led breakout sessions, and invaluable networking opportunities, culminating in a regional mixer to conclude the day’s agenda.  

The summit, held in collaboration with Heber City, Wasatch County, Park City Municipal, and Summit County, will address the most pressing economic and business challenges impacting the Wasatch Back region.   • Morning Keynote: Rob Hetrick, Senior Labor Economist at Lightcast and author of The Demographic Drought and The Rising Storm, will discuss the nation’s looming labor shortage and strategies for businesses to build a resilient workforce.  
  • Lunch Keynote: Robert Spendlove, Senior Economist at Zions Bank, will offer an in-depth economic analysis, equipping attendees with knowledge to navigate the challenges and opportunities of the year ahead.  
  • Afternoon Keynote: Mueller-Schubert, c o-founder and CEO of WSI Next Gen Marketing, will explore the evolving role of AI in the workplace, offering practical insights on how businesses can adopt and leverage AI technology effectively.
