Wasatch County Awards $90,000 Microgrants to 25 Local Businesses
HEBER CITY, UTAH (June 16, 2026) – Twenty-five Wasatch County businesses have been selected to receive funding through the Wasatch County Small Business Microgrant Program, a $90,000 business assistance initiative funded through the Utah Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity and administered by Heber Valley Tourism and Economic Development.
The competitive program provides up to $5,000 in matching funds to support projects that help businesses expand services, improve operational efficiency, increase capacity, create jobs, and strengthen the local economy.
"We were impressed by the quality of applications and the innovative projects proposed by businesses throughout Wasatch County," said Dallin Koecher, Executive Director of Heber Valley Tourism, Chamber, and Economic Development. "These investments will help local businesses grow, better serve customers, and continue contributing to the economic vitality of our community."
Applications were reviewed and scored by the Wasatch County Economic Opportunity Advisory Board using criteria including business expansion potential, job creation, project feasibility, and the applicant's financial investment in the project.
