For the past 30 years, Dr. Tate has been conducting clinical research focused on various neurologic and psychiatric conditions such as traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). His research has been instrumental in improving the diagnostic process for many of these conditions. Photobiomodulation or PBM helps reduce inflammation, improves circulation, and restores healthier levels of cell energy production. Improving a body at a cellular level leads to dramatic enhancements in quality of life. Dr. Tate continues to focus his work on improving treatment outcomes. His sons help with the operations of Valhalla Plus in Heber City and in Draper.

After the grand opening and ribbon cutting event in 2021 for their first location in Heber City, business was an immediate success. Their client need quickly outgrew their startup space on Heber Main Street. This local family-owned business decided it was time to expand to offer more services to our community. While their new location was completing construction, they opened a second location in Draper, Utah, where they held a grand opening and ribbon cutting event in November 2022. When construction finished at the new Heber City location, Heber Valley Chamber joined them to help celebrate the opening and ribbon cutting for their new location in the valley.
